7 Days Liquid Fast
What is liquid fasting?
During liquid fasting, as the name already suggests, no solid food is allowed, but only liquids such as homemade or purchased fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, broths, tea and water. Dairy products are also typically avoided. The aim of the fast is primarily to detox and purify the body and change the metabolism. It is possible to lose some weight through fasting.
You should not, under any circumstances, fast for longer than a few days if doing this alone. This of course applies to all extreme forms of fasting such as water fasting and all other types of liquid fasts. Long-term weight loss cannot be achieved in a few days or a week. If you would like to lose weight, a fast however a great starting point to restart your metabolism and change your diet, if you then continue to eat healthy at home.
Detoxing with a liquid fast diet
Although losing weight quickly with a liquid fast is a lofty dream, you can help improve your chance of sticking to lifestyle changes by using a liquid fast to detox before you start your weight loss journey, or even while dieting.
During the fast, the body detoxes and is cleansed of toxins. This can help you to combat the craving for sweet, sugary foods and help you get a grip on unhealthy eating habits. This will have a permanent impact on your long-term weight loss results and make dieting that much easier.

Breakdown of the 7-Days Liquid Fast
Apple cider vinegar shot in the morning is optional. The benefits are that it helps to regulate blood sugar, is good for digestion, helps to suppress hunger as well great if you have a fatty liver.
How I make mine:
All in a shot glass. A little bit of water to help dilute everything. 2 tbsp of ACV 2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemons and 1 tsp of Himalayan salt (Himalayan salt is not like your table salt).
Himalayan salt contains more than 80 minerals and elements, including potassium, iron, Zinc, calcium and Magnesium. All of these minerals aid our body’s natural detoxification process and promote bacteria removal.
Himalayan salt is very effective at helping your body create an electrolyte balance, helping your intestines absorb nutrients and lowering blood pressure. It also helps to balance your PH Levels
No more than 6 protein shakes a day. One every 2 1/2-3 hours if needed. Most only drink 3-4 in a day. Make sure that your protein shake is low in sugar 1-2g, low in net carbs 1-2g and high in protein 15-30g.
You can have tea and coffee if you need sugar use a sugar substitute such as stevia, monk fruit and Truvia to name a few. These sugars help to give you sweetness minus calories.
You can also have broth. It doesn’t matter what brand. Bone broth in my suggestion is the best because it has more collagen, electrolytes, protein, vitamins and minerals than chicken broth.
